CASEPAK
DIGITAL TWIN
A real-time, interactive digital twin of Casepak — a complex industrial recycling facility — rebuilt from over 200,000 drone and LiDAR images and deployed in real time for training, maintenance and operational planning.
Intricate machinery layouts and a ~200,000-image dataset demanded sub-millimetre accuracy. Traditional photogrammetry couldn't process or deploy it in real time.
Hybrid capture with the XGRIDS Portal Cam, Gaussian Splatting, and Volinga converting raw PLY into optimised NVOL assets — deployed natively for real-time delivery.
A static dataset became a fully navigable real-time environment with live overlays for equipment specs, maintenance schedules and operational insights.
Featured the Casepak project as a showcase on the Volinga website.
